Evidence base

Research & methods

This page explains what evidence the guide uses, what each source can establish, and how we avoid treating market estimates, platform signals, and seller experiences as the same kind of fact.

How we use numbers

Market reports are directional models, not a global ledger. Grand View Research and Mordor Intelligence publish different POD estimates. We retain both so the difference makes definitions, periods, and model uncertainty visible; we do not select one number and present it as an exact fact.

How we handle AI adoption rates

“A seller uses AI” may refer to research, final artwork, mockups, listing copy, customer service, or data work. Unless a study has a POD-seller denominator, explicit task definitions, and transparent sampling, we do not infer an industry rate for AI-created final print artwork.

Public boundaries for Plotia research

Plotia evidence reviews build task taxonomies, failure patterns, and checklists. The 1,499-listing personalization corpus supports structural analysis of design variables; it does not establish sales, market share, or causality. Public pages exclude raw listings, seller identities, and internal project paths.

Updates and corrections

Platform rules, supplier file specifications, and AI capabilities change. Each source keeps its publication and access dates. Before production, recheck the current supplier template and the rules in the destination market.

Source library

Every source records both its use and its boundary. Plotia research publishes aggregate methods and findings only—never raw seller identities, collection paths, private assets, or hidden Skill rules.
