Privacy Policy

1. Controller and Contact

PodPlo is the controller of personal information processed for the product experience at https://podplo.app.

For privacy questions, account deletion or to exercise a data right, email support@podplo.app. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

2. Information We Collect and Process

  • Account information, such as your email address, sign-in method, session information, account preferences and verification status.
  • Generation and asset information, such as prompts, uploaded images, reference images, selected Skills, model and generation settings, generated outputs, history, favorites and collections.
  • Subscription and billing information, such as your plan, credit balance, orders, transaction references, payment status, subscription status and billing history. PodPlo does not store complete payment-card details.
  • Technical, usage and security information, such as IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, request and diagnostic logs, feature usage, error reports and anti-abuse signals.
  • Communications and support information that you choose to provide when you contact us.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, session management, security, preferences, analytics and core Service functionality.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain and improve image generation, asset storage, history, account and subscription features.
  • Authenticate users, manage sessions and protect accounts.
  • Process generation requests, calculate and reserve credits, settle completed tasks and return credits for eligible failed tasks.
  • Operate Public and Private visibility choices and deliver authorized assets.
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, cancellations, refunds, disputes and related support requests.
  • Monitor performance, diagnose failures, recover interrupted tasks and improve Service reliability.
  • Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. AI Processing and Content Moderation

To fulfill a generation request, PodPlo may send the information needed for that request—including your prompt, uploaded or selected reference images, generation settings and technical request data—to third-party model and processing providers. Those providers process the information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.

Prompts, reference images, generated images and public content may be assessed by automated safety systems and, where necessary, human reviewers. We retain moderation results and review records as reasonably necessary to enforce our policies, investigate reports and demonstrate compliance.

Do not upload confidential information or personal data that you are not authorized to use. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required for images or information you submit.

5. Public and Private Generations

You choose Public or Private before submitting a generation. A Public result may be displayed in PodPlo’s public discovery experiences together with your original prompt and permitted generation details, such as the model, ratio or selected Skill. Reference images and PodPlo’s hidden instructions are not displayed as part of the public generation details.

Private results and user uploads are made available only through authorized account experiences and the service providers needed to process or store them. Visibility cannot be changed after generation. Deleting a Public result from your personal History does not remove the public gallery copy.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only as reasonably necessary to operate, protect or comply with obligations relating to the Service. Recipients may include:

  • Authentication, database, hosting, cloud storage and content-delivery providers.
  • AI model, image-processing and task-processing providers.
  • Payment, subscription, fraud-prevention and billing providers.
  • Email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, security and customer-support providers.
  • Professional advisers, authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and the Service.
  • A successor or prospective successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the Service, and obtain consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain account and asset history, complete billing and accounting, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with law. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

When you delete an eligible Private asset, it is removed from your account workflow and scheduled for deletion from active storage. Limited copies or records may remain temporarily in backups, deletion queues, security logs or records that we must retain for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution purposes. Public gallery copies may remain when the generation was originally submitted as Public.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and protected storage for Private assets. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or a copy of eligible personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate account information.
  • Request deletion of eligible personal information.
  • Request restriction of or object to certain processing.
  • Request portability of certain information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support@podplo.app so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

12. International Processing

PodPlo and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and remain subject to applicable data-protection requirements.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
